With 670 hectares of dense forest, Lenin Park is the largest recreational area in Havana, Cuba. It is located in Arroyo Naranjo, about 20 kilometers south of Havana center. It was built by the revolutionary government between 1969 and 1972, and Havana families usually spend their weekends there.
This huge estate has an amusement park, an aquarium, several movie theaters, a children's theater and a puppet theater. In addition, you will also find a beautiful artificial lake where you can rent boats, an equestrian area and an amphitheater with capacity for approximately 2,400 people. Not to mention, it also has an open-air library, a pottery workshop, a variety of restaurants and bars.
The Lenin amusement park is equipped with several art galleries and numerous sports courts. And in case you want to take a tour of the park without tiring or straining yourself too much, you can do so by riding on a small railroad. This mini-train runs on a 9-kilometer narrow-gauge track and is open from Wednesday to Sunday every week between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
The park is surrounded by the Cuban Pavilion of Expocuba, a large exhibition hall about the Caribbean island, the National Botanical Garden and the National Zoological Garden.
This is the most important wetland on the island of Cuba, and also in the entire Caribbean. It is located in Jagüey Grande and the Bay of Pigs. It consists of different scenarios, in which you can perform various activities. There you can visit the Criadero, Laguna del Tesoro, Villa Guamá, and its restaurant area where you can taste the local gastronomy.

You will be given a tour of the Treasure Lagoon and the mangroves. Another attraction is the crocodile farm, where you can observe more than 4,000 crocodiles.
The Tanía Village is located in front of the Chorro de Maíta Museum, there you will find a life-size reproduction of a Taino village, which is composed of houses and figures that represent the original way of life of these people of Bienes, Cuba.
