Is your trip to Cuba coming soon?
Here you will find all the useful tips on what to pack for Cuba in order not to forget what you will need on this beautiful Caribbean island.
The climate in Cuba is generally warm so you can bring your summer clothing with swimwear and everything you need for the beach.
Sunglasses will be very important since sunlight in the tropics is much stronger. If you choose the western part, such as Havana, temperatures are colder in the winter months, especially in the evenings where we recommend a sweater.
As for the footwear in Cuba, we suggest comfortable shoes in case of excursions.
For the kit of medicines we recommend to bring your daily use medicines, products for intestinal disorders, antibiotics and any prescriptions. All medicines should be transported in their original packaging.
Remember also the products for personal hygiene as it is not always easy to find them in Cuba. We also remember to bring insect repellents, especially if you are travelling in the coastal region.
If you are planning a traveling trip to Cuba with a car, don’t forget your driving license (you don’t need the international one).
In addition to your valid passport on the date of your return, you must take with you travel insurance and tourist visa.
Concerning the travel insurance, you should know that it must be stipulated before departure because is compulsory to enter the country with medical insurance.
Access to Cuba is allowed only if you have a visa or tourist card that is valid for one month from the entry and can be extended for other 30 days. Remember to keep it during your stay in Cuba

We recommend a rigid and secure suitcase. Remember not to exceed the kg granted (it varies depending on the airline and generally is about 20 kg for the suitcase and 5-10kg for the hand luggage) as you may have to pay an additional cost at both the departure and arrival airports.
We also remind you that in the suitcase you will not be able to carry fresh food unless hermetically sealed.
In some cases the suitcases are lost or arrive late, so we recommend to put in your hand luggage everything you need to spend the first days.
